Lucy has earned her psychology degrees from Macquarie University. For her undergraduate degree, she has majored in Psychology and Philosophy; later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, and Master of Psychology (Counselling) program. She also completed two years of PhD candidature (Sydney University, 2015-17).

Lucy is a behavioural expert, and unlike medical practitioners, she does not prescribe medication.

The interventions and treatments offered are evidence-based psychologically-focused strategies, and the mode of delivery is predominantly “talk” therapy.

She received her clinical training and experience through internships in public and private psychiatric hospitals and community settings across Sydney. Lucy has been in private psychology practice for two decades, first in Sydney, and since 2017 she has been located in Brisbane. She has extensive experience providing therapy to individuals and couples, from adolescents to adults. 
As well as being a clinician Lucy is an academic educator. She is a past Lecturer in Behavioural Sciences at The University of Sydney (2008-20217), and a past Head of Discipline (Behavioural Medicine Science, Faculty of Dentistry), the University of Sydney. She served as a member of the Academic Board of The University of Sydney, and the Interview Selection Panels for admission to Postgraduate Medicine and Dentistry Programs at Sydney University between 2009 and 2017.

Lucy undertakes to bring a warm attitude and compassionate understanding to the therapy sessions and aims to provide the highest level of care

She has training in CBT, REBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, EMDR, Family Systems and Relationship Therapy training from Relationships Australia.
